Below is a list of our FAQ's & Terms & Conditions

What is Feathering?

Feathering, also known as microblading is the fine art of using a professional hand held tool to create hair like incisions in the very surface layer of the skin to enhance and design an eyebrow. The result of this microblading method is a healed feathered look the mimics natural brow hair.

How long does it last?

Feathering is a form of permanent tattooing and lasts in the skin depending on the individual anywhere from 6-12 months before a colour refresh is due.

Does it hurt?

Although you can apply topical anaesthetic to the areas being treated it is still a tattoo so there will be some sensation involved. Pain is a very individual experience and can vary day to day depending on the individuals mood, mindset, emotions, physical disposition, amount of rest and general lifestyle influences.

Who can have feathering?

Anyone who doesn’t have the following contraindications.

Do you have to shave my natural eyebrows off to feather them?

NO! There is absolutely NO need to remove your natural brows. Your specialist will Map/Draw your ideal Brow up before tattooing and will remove with a special blade any hairs that are outside of that so to allow tidy application and results.

Is there down time post treatment and can I go back to work?

Yes. You can go out or back to work after having your Brows feathered. Being a fairly non-invasive treatment, most will experience little or no redness post their brow treatment.
There may be a little swelling of the area but that’s to be expected and generally not noticeable to you.
You will leave with aftercare cream on and receive some to take home, along with instructions on how to look after your new Brows.
You will expect to experience some minimal exfoliation from about day 4-7 in which time you’ll notice the Brows deepen in colour.Post exfoliation phase they will lighten back up and eventually reach their true colour. It’s then at 4-6 weeks that you return for your touchup perfecting session.

What CAN'T I do after having my brows micro-feathered?

NO:

  • Swimming or Spas

  • Scratching or rubbing of the area

  • Avoid the area with serums or vitamin creams

  • Sunbathing without covering the area

DO NOT WET YOUR NEW BROWS & AVOID MAKEUP

Laser light will infiltrate the healing pigment and impact the colour.
